Points


Overview
Members are eligible to earn points for their projects.  Points are determined based on a number of rules.  Projects that take a lot of effort and creativity are worth the most points.  Other projects will be worth a less amount of points.  Committing to other activities, such as participating in site voting polls and commenting on other members' posts, can also get you more points.  See the list below.  The page with prompts for each month mentions how many points each is worth.

Why are Points Important?
The member with the most points at the end of each month can earn the Super Member of the Month status.  See more on the 'Find Out More' page.

Earn More Points

2 points -- Comment on other members' posts featuring their projects.  Tell what you think about a member's project and mention how you felt differently about reading the book if you read it before.  Also reply to other members' comments on your posts.
5 - 10 points -- Complete projects mentioned on the 'Monthly Projects' page.
15 - 20 points -- After getting inspired by reading an interesting book, write your own story.  Develop interesting characters, a cool setting, and a thrilling plot.
