Ribsy By Beaverly Cleary

In this story a boy named Henry Huggins loses his dog, Ribsy, at a parking lot.  Ribsy,trying to get back home gets in a station wagon that looks a lot like the Huggin's car, curls up and falls asleep.  In a few minutes Ribsy wakes up and finds himself with another family.  And that's how Ribsy's adventure began... He met some other people which were all very nice to him but he always ran away.  This story is great.  I hope you like it!

Dear Mr. Henshaw by Beverly Cleary

In this story, a boy named Leigh Botts has a favorite author and he writes to him every day.  The author suggests that Leigh keep a diary.  Now he has helped Leigh increase his skills in writing.  I liked it when Leigh earned Honorable Mention in the Yearbook.  I think this story was the best one I have read so far.  If I had been transported into this book, I would have written a poem for the Yearbook.  I would like to be the main character because it might be fun.  I liked this book because it was funny, exciting, and entertaining to read.

Ramona and Me

I really like the Ramona and Beezus books. Ramona and I have lots of things in common.  First, both have an active imagination. Also, we both like weird and cool things. We also both have an older sister. I think it would be fun being the main character because I would be like the superstar of the book and I think everyone would like that. 

We also both do things we are not supposed to do by accident.  Ramona is really, really funny and has a really cool personality!!  I really like people with that kind of personality and she is always in a great mood just like me! So, if you haven't read the book yet, you should pick it up and read it!!

Ramona’s World

I have read this book and I wanted to talk about it!  The book is "Ramona’s World." In the book, Ramona finally goes to 4th grade. That is when she meets her best friend Daisy. The worst part is that Ramona does not like her new fourth grade teacher.  I really like the book because it's really funny and entertaining. Also I like that Ramona is the main character because she is hilarious and I just love it!  I think being the main character would be fun because I would be in most of the scenes and Ramona is! So you should really read the book!!

Ramona and Her Father

I really liked the book "Ramona and Her Father" because first her dad loses his job and so it's the mom's job to take care of the whole family. That part was sad but it's nice how the father and Ramona get to have some time together and have fun.  Also it was really funny when she called her teacher pie face. Ramona is really funny. She is my favorite charactar because she is hilarious and I love funny things. You should really read this book if you have a chance!!

Ramona The Brave

  I really liked the book "Ramona the Brave" because I like the way that Ramona is really confident and is not afraid to say what she thinks. Also, this is when she meets Susan on the first day of first grade. I would love to be the main character because I would be in most of the parts and most of the scenes of the story. Also, the main character who is Ramona is really, really funny and I like things that are funny. Funny things also make me more interested.

Ramona and Her Father

In this story, Ramona's father loses his job.  Now her mother must take care of the whole family.  I liked this story because it was funny and entertaining. The funniest part of the story was when Ramona called Mrs. Swink pie face. This story was long and good.

Ramona Forever

In this book, Ramona has lots of good times in school.  But, one day, she realizes her friend, Howie has an uncle that is coming to visit from Saudi Arabia. They say he is rich but he looks like a plain man to Ramona.  And worst of all, he teases Ramona.  Meanwhile, Ramona is noticing that her Mother is keeping secrets.  I liked this story because it was funny.  My favorite part was when Ramona wore a dress.

This is the last part from "Ramona's World," when she and Susan finally became friends on Ramona's birthday.

In this story, Ramona goes to kindergarten.  But she isn't ready for it.  Everyone calls her a pest because she makes a noisy fuss.  I liked this story because it was exciting and funny.  The main character is Ramona.  I would like to be the main character because I would like the story to talk more about me.

Ramona the Brave

In this story, Ramona is very brave.  This was her first day of first grade where she meets Susan.  I would like to be the main character because I want the story to mostly talk about me.  The main character in this story is Ramona.  I liked this story because it was fascinating and funny.
