Stone Fox

In this story, a boy named Willy has a dog named Searchlight and a grandfather who is very sick.  Willy entered a dog race that someone suggests will cure his grandfather.  My favorite part of the book was when Willy passed by his grandfather's house when he was sick on the race.  He was all better. The main character in this story is Willy.
